A successful, sustainable fundraising program is critical to the success of every nonprofit organization. One of the key aspects of having a successful fundraising program is donors. This certificate program provides participants with practical and strategic roadmaps and tools to develop meaningful and long-term relationships with donors. Participants will gain the knowledge of how to identify qualified donors to build trustworthy and loyal relationships between the donor and the nonprofit organization with the goal of asking the donor for a significant gift. Furthermore, participants will learn the importance of thanking donors to encourage the donor to give again at an increased amount.

Dr. Courtney Laddusaw, Ed.D., MNLM

Dr. Courtney Laddusaw is the co-founder and instructor of the Donor Management Certificate Program at Pepperdine University, School of Education and Psychology. Dr. Laddusaw also works as the Lead Consultant at Bristol Strategy Group. She has over 13 years of experience as a fundraising professional and 4 years of experience working as a nonprofit consultant. Dr. Laddusaw has worked with small, emerging nonprofit organizations to large international organizations raising anywhere from less than $50,000 to over $1,000,000,000. Dr. Laddusaw graduated from Pepperdine University with a Doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership, the University of Southern California with a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management degree, and the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s in Science degree and a Bachelor’s in Arts degree.

Dr. Laddusaw resides with her husband and two children in San Diego, CA. She loves to spend time with family and friends, be outdoors, attend BootCamp classes, cook the trendiest recipes, read parenting books, and listen to the hottest new Audiobooks.
